2025-2026 Parking News

Please check this site regularly as the information will change as needed. The latest information is always first.

08/11/2025 - (UPDATE) - APPLICATION HERE!

This week your window to apply for the 2025 - 2026 parking permit will open. This window is for any remaining Seniors who missed the first application window, and now open for potential Juniors. We are all very excited for this upcoming year and what it can bring for all of you. You received a detailed email about parking a few weeks ago. We want to be very clear about what to expect with this year's parking situation.

1.) There will not be enough spots for everyone

2.) There will not be enough spots for everyone, truly.

3.) The spots we have left are all ENTIRELY made up of FORFEIT spots. Meaning if you get one of these spots at some point this year you will be forfeiting it when construction begins. The good news is the FORFEIT spots are being sold at a reduced rate of $25. This price reduction is due to the fact that you will lose it when the school begins construction (approximately late November). This is non-negotiable.

4.) We have DISABLED/TURNED OFF MyPaymentsPlus for your application window. We encourage everyone to apply but as we said we cannot accommodate everyone. So, we will allow all applications to come in freely BUT be advised we can only assign what we have available. The best and most fair way to assign these spots are through a lottery. All of the applications that will come in between the time period of August 11th - August 18th will be placed in a lottery pool. Names of the students that applied for a parking spot in the lottery pool will then be selected at random and assigned a FORFEIT spot. This process will then rinse and repeat itself until all FORFEIT spots available are assigned. NOTE: Students with outstanding obligations WILL NOT be included in the lottery.

5.) For the students that are selected, via the lotteryyou will be contacted by the Security Office on August 19thand 20th, and you will be instructed to come in the following week to satisfy the remainder of the application, including payment, at that point you will receive your parking permit. MPP will not be an option. You can pay with either check or cash. Check payable to Central Bucks South Student Activities. NOTE: If you do not respond via email or in person the following week, 8/18 - 8/19 and satisfy the remainder of your application, your application will be considered null and void and your spot will go to the next student in line. The FINAL DUE DATE for all parking application materials and payment will be August 18th.

6.) For those students that were not selected, your names will be kept on record and placed in a secondary lottery. You are expected to adhere to this decision and respect it. This list will serve as backups to the selected students should they not fulfill their requirements, or a spot opens up later in the year.

7.) Lastly the Administration Team along with the Security Team expect everyone to obey the rules of the road and those of the school parking. If you do not have a parking permit here DO NOT drive here, it is as simple as that. Otherwise, you will get a ticket. We have increased ticket fees as well this year. They will now be $50 per ticket. Take the bus or get a ride with a parent or a student that can drive here.

07/14/2025 - (UPDATE)Happy Summer students and families! If you have not been here recently, let us fill you in on some changes. We have added several new safety features in our parking lot with the goal of increasing traffic flow efficiency and also maintaining the highest level of safety for our students and teachers. In just a few short weeks, you will be receiving an email from the Security Office with your parking application. It is imperative you read and understand it in its entirety. As you might, or might not, be aware, we have construction scheduled to begin sometime during the school year. Which means we will have vehicles, materials, and a bunch of extra people walking around our lot and working on our building, most of which will be blocked off by a perimeter fence.  Due to this, we will be extremely limited in how many spaces we have available for you to purchase for the year and, as such, we will be maintaining a zero-tolerance policy as it relates to following, or not, the rules and regulations pertaining to parking at CB South. Below you will find key points for you to take away for the upcoming year.

  • Seniors will have priority over underclass students.

  • Senior students that are routinely here after school hours for a school function or events (we know who you are) will have priority.

  • Seniors should be prepared for parking space shortages, which might mean some of you do NOT get a spot.

  • Senior students that still owe the school an obligation will not be considered for a spot.

  • Juniors will be the last to be placed. Important: due to the smaller parking lot size, we might not be able to accommodate any of you.

  • Ticket fines have been increased to $50 per ticket per infraction. It was decided by the security and the admin teams that increasing the ticket fine would be a good way to deter those students that decide they will still park here even without a permit or permission.

We are still actively working on trying to accommodate everyone as best we can. As more developments happen, we will relay them right here. Thank you for your attention to this matter and have a wonderful July!

**Seniors (Class of 2026) will not be eligible to apply for parking for the 25-26 school year when it opens this summer if they have an outstanding obligation. If you want to check if you have an outstanding obligation, please contact the 2nd Floor House Office.***
